Bommerwelend is a modern theme park dedicated to Bommel and Tom Poes, characters from a children’s comic series who are as iconic in the Netherlands as Mickey Mouse. ARPANEL contributed to its construction — we supplied the lightweight cladding system for the building’s façade.

Our ARPANEL sandwich wall panels have been used here in natural colours: fir green (6009 PURPA), olive green (6003 PURPA) and ash grey (7000 PURPA) — what does this combination mean?

It blends perfectly into the forest environment — giving new meaning to the phrase ‘far, far away’, featured in every fairy tale. Our proprietary system, modelled on our innovative DUAL SKIN system, is another interesting solution. This is why the site has not only received unique colours, but also unusual shapes, which have made the park a truly magical place, with magic visible at the first glance. See it for yourselves!
